Then, throughout the game, Jack controls people that the Hero felt he could trust, like Maze, kills the Hero's mother, and puts the Hero in terrible positions like making the Hero decide whether he kills his friend Whisper or even his own sister.

As a character, Ben tends to bring some comic relief, but he still knows when to take a situation seriously. They're found just in time before they potentially parish in the desert, and Ben is there to comfort the Hero and Walter when they wake up. He's also not afraid of a fight and joins the Hero on the front lines during the final battle against the Darkness at the end of the main campaign. Jasper may make comments about the player's questionable outfit choices , or constantly remind players about how there are new items in the Sanctuary Shop, but he's still a very loyal friend to the Hero who watches over the Sanctuary.

You will need to have played the first three games to fully understand the story of Theresa, that is explained by herself in Fable: The Journey. I don't recall Fable II having any online coop. Yes, there were online aspects, but you saw other players only as icons in the world and the only interaction was trading items.
