What makes the muppets movie

The Muppet Movie is the perfect distillation of what makes the characters endearing. Kermit and Fozzie embarking on a road trip that introduces each of the characters highlights their individuality, and it fleshes out relationships that were only hinted at within the show. The technical marvels on The Muppet Movie were breakthroughs at the time, as even getting Kermit to sit on a log or ride a bicycle required groundbreaking staging.
